Kimukatsu is a restaurant in Japan that is famous for its mille-feuille tonkatsu. The meat is repeatedly sliced thinly then covered with fresh breadcrumbs, fried slowly in low temperature for about 8 minutes and set to let the steam out.

This is the 1st branch of Kimukatsu. Kimukatsu is famous for mille-feuille of Katsu. Their katsu is a bit different from usual tonkatsu. When you look at katsu, it's like mille-feuille. It's so nice and taste delicious.

Katsu is on the top of my list of dishes to always try in a Japanese restaurant. Kimukatsu is a little late in joining the katsu bandwagon in the Philippines, but what’s unique about it is its own variation of katsu - it offers 25 layers of mille-feuille Katsu in different kinds of flavors. When we visited the place, I ordered my favorite black pepper katsu and tried one of their new offerings, the creamy katsu. The pork cutlet alone with its extraordinary tenderness is already a treat. Having more options in flavors - A new experience every time we visit.
